JENNIFER C. RYDBERG is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound (B.S. Chemistry, 1973) and the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University) (1977). Her family oriented law practice includes divorce, estate planning, and probate. She is a trained mediator, and uses a solutions oriented approach to family law and probate proceedings. A substantial amount of her practice involves providing pro se assistance ("unbundled legal services"), and presiding over settlement conferences and mediations, as well as representing clients through alternative dispute resolution techniques. Ms. Rydberg is a frequent speaker on legal topics.
A Rotarian and AAUW member, Ms. Rydberg belongs to numerous professional and civic organizations. She is a former President of the Tahoma School District Board of Directors and served on the Board of Directors of DAWN (Domestic Abused Women's Network).
Ms. Rydberg resides in South King County with her husband and sons, with whom she enjoys numerous outdoor activities, tailoring, fiddling, and traveling. She and her family have been actively involved in Boy Scouts for years, and she currently coaches Life Scouts, as they become Eagle Scouts.
